Fundación Almine y Bernard Ruiz-Picasso

About us

History & Mission

FABA was founded by Almine and Bernard Ruiz-Picasso in 2002. The Foundation holds a collection of artworks by Pablo Picasso and contemporary artists, as well as significant archives.

A key part of the Foundation’s mission is to study the work of Pablo Picasso from a historical, scientific and technological perspective. The Foundation also contributes to numerous exhibitions and publications in collaboration with international institutions, organises its own exhibitions and supports contemporary art.

Board of trustees

FABA is managed by a permanent Board of Trustees, co-chaired by Almine and Bernard Ruiz-Picasso, and a committee that helps to develop the Foundation’s mission.
