Picasso Raices Biblicas

FABA is pleased to present the exhibition Picasso. Biblical Roots, from March 3rd to June 28th, 2026 at Burgos Cathedral in Spain. Organised in close collaboration with the Fundación Consulado del Mar de Burgos and the Archdiocese of Burgos, the exhibition brings together more than forty major works. 

Curated by Paloma Alarco and with a scenography designed by Frade Arquitectos, it offers an in-depth exploration of how Picasso appropriates and reinterprets certain themes drawn from the Christian tradition.
 

The exhibition is structured around five main themes: Motherhood, Vanity, Golgotha, the Vera Icon and Hope.
